'Supergirl' season 2 episode 9 spoilers: Winn starts first job in DEO
Winn (Jeremy Jordan) will get his share of action in the upcoming episode of "Supergirl." How will he fare?
In the promo released for the episode titled "Supergirl Lives," Alex (Chyler Leigh) is shown telling Winn a.k.a. Agent Schott to suit up and go out in the field. It looks like Winn will finally experience how to be badass Department of Extra-Normal Operations' agent after spending all his time behind a computer. Understandably, he is scared about the mission. Alex tries to comfort him, stating that she was also scared on her first experience in the field.
Meanwhile, Roulette (Dichen Lachman) will return after a brief absence following her arrest by the National City Police Department in episode 4. The villain was charged for running an underground alien fight club. A mysterious order, however, made the authorities release Roulette from their custody. In the clip, she is shown meeting an unidentified person. What is she planning this time around? Does it have something to do with the city's resident alien, Supergirl?
Another storyline to watch out for in the episode is a bleeding Kara (Melissa Benoist) in a different planet. In the teaser, she is shown standing under a red sun. She appears to have no superpowers. How she got there remains a mystery, but speculations claim it has something to do with Mon-El (Chris Wood). The Daxamite is being hunted by aliens. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently hinted that whatever secret Mon-El has been keeping, it is something big.
"Secrets are never healthy in a relationship and obviously Mon-El is holding onto something. We got a little taste that his life on Daxam might not be as over as we think from the glimpse of the space farers, who are on the hunt for him. So it will definitely play a big part in their relationship moving forward," Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly.
"Supergirl" season 2 will return on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
