'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: Sam and Dean concoct a plan to save Castiel from Amara in episode 21; will Chuck help the Winchesters defeat His sister?

(Facebook/Supernatural)Dean tries to convince God to stop Amara from destroying the world.

"Supernatural" fans finally got the confirmation that they were looking for when Chuck was revealed to be God. But will the seemingly laid-back divinity help the Winchesters in their fight against Amara or will he let them go at it alone?

The previous episode is undoubtedly one of the best ones in the whole 11 seasons of "Supernatural." Not only did the episode finally confirm that the prophet Chuck (Rob Benedict) was really God, it surprisingly had Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) championing the human race. The episode ended with everyone that was affected by Amara's (Emily Swallow) fog recovering and Samulet leading Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) to Chuck, who simply told them they needed to talk.

The only way to top that revelation was to keep going with it, something that episode 21 apparently does. A trailer for the episode, "All in the Family," unfolds with Dean and Chuck sitting on a bench and talking. They're apparently in a park, with families enjoying the day and the older Winchester brother tells Chuck that Amara will destroy everything he created. Amara is then shown torturing Castiel (Misha Collins).

As Dean tells Chuck he's the one who should take out Amara, God's sister is seen confronting Sam, who's apparently on the road with an older man. She tells Sam he's really not worth sparing and the car suddenly begins to spin around. There's a montage of scenes showing Chuck, a tortured Castiel, lightning coming down, and Amara caressing Dean's face.

It appears that Amara has deliberately shown Dean her torture of Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino), who's still inhabiting Castiel's body. This will prompt the brothers to try and save their friend from Amara before it's too late.

However, will Chuck allow this to happen? After all, the divinity revealed to Metatron that he kept helping the Winchesters and Castiel for years but got frustrated because their decision to save each other kept complicating things. Saving Castiel, and consequently Lucifer, might have repercussions further down the line.

While Metatron might have prodded Chuck to save the town and reveal himself to the Winchesters, it appears Dean has to step up his powers of persuasion if he wants God on his side.

Episode 21 of "Supernatural" season 11 will be aired on The CW on May 11 at 9 p.m. (ET).
