'Switched At Birth' season 5 episode 7 news: replaced by Adam Sandler movie, 100th episode airs March 21

"Switched at Birth" episode 7 of season 5 was replaced by an Adam Sandler movie. The said episode will instead air the following Tuesday, March 21.

The Adam Sandler movie in question is the 1999 hit comedy "Big Daddy," where he played the lead character named Sonny. Fans of the TV series will have to until next week to watch the latest episode titled "Memory (The Heart)."

The synopsis for this episode states, "A mysterious young woman has Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) flooded with memories of their deceased father Angelo (Gilles Marini), and they must decide if they should let her into their lives." It adds that Toby (Lucas Grabeel) is torn between his mother and his wife in which have different views regarding Toby's son Baptism. Meanwhile, Melody (Marlee Matlin) asks her sons to make amends so the family can be together for her birthday.

This particular episode marks a milestone for the popular TV series as it now reaches its 100th episode. The story was written by Linda Gase and was directed by Lea Thompson.

In the previous episode titled "Four Ages in Life," Daphne discovered she's working for Dr. Jackson, who caught her stealing oxycodone. She watched Dr. Jackson give stitches to a girl as his hands trembled. Daphne reminded Dr. Jackson to take his arthritis pills.

Bay gave a boy a tattoo, not knowing he was only 15 years old. The boy's father confronted her and told her she gave her son a gang sign in which Bay apologized. Bay then tattooed over the gang sign and gave the boy a refund.

"Switched at Birth" season 5 episode 7 will air on Tuesday, March 21, at 9 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
