'Teen Wolf' season 5 episode 17 spoilers: Scott and his pack set up lacrosse game to uncover the Beast's identity
Scott, Stiles and Kira are determined to uncover the true identity of the Beast of Gevaudan. In the upcoming episode, the pack hatch a plan that will bring them one step closer to unmasking this deadly and terrifying creature.
In the previously aired "Lie Ability" episode, Lydia was rescued from Dr. Valack and his experiments. Before meeting his demise, he admitted to the pack that the reason for the experiments was to uncover the identity of the Beast, something that Scott and his pack are also after.
According to reports, the previous episode also provided hints into the true identity of the Beast. Huge paw prints were seen transforming into human shoe prints which seems to indicate that beneath its terrifying and beastly exterior, a human is responsible for everything.
Next week, in "A Credible Threat," Scott and his pack will set up a lacrosse game for charity in an attempt to lure the Beast out of hiding and uncovering its identity, once and for all.
The charity game will pit Beacon Hills High with Devenford Prep. In the promo for the upcoming episode, Brett asks about the dangers of the charity game and is told by Mason, "I'm saying, people are going to die." Brett then tries to leave before the game starts but is convinced by Mason to trust Scott and their plans.
With a full moon coming and the Beast sure to make a deadly appearance, Scott and the pack decide to make plan to ensure the safety of the civilians. They turn to Coach Finstock to find a way to forfeit the game.
However, despite these plans, the Beast will wreak havoc as it arrives at the lacrosse game. The promo also features a scene with mutilated bodies.
To see whether Scott and the rest of the pack are close to unmasking the Beast, be sure to tune in for "A Credible Threat" airing on Feb. 16.
Season 5 of "Teen Wolf" airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
