'Teen Wolf' season 5 news and spoilers: Actor Cody Christian of 'Pretty Little Liars' joins cast, filming resumes, will make June premiere date for season 5
The wolves in "Teen Wolf" are about to increase in number as MTV's official site announced that actor Cody Christian of "Pretty Little Liars" will be joining the students at Beacon Hills high school.
Having appeared in "True Blood" and "Grey's Anatomy", Christian will play the role of Theo. Theo is a lone wolf that is drawn to the supernatural Californian town in search of a pack. He is athletic, well-built, charming and covert. While he seems to be new to the town, his past may reveal otherwise.
Since the handsome hunk is buffed up, it makes fans wonder whether he will be a part of the lacrosse team that already has Kira, Scott, Stiles and Liam. So, is Theo a friend or a foe? Will he cause trouble or provide assitance? More importantly, will he bring a new set of problems to the true Alpha and his pack?
While there were reports that suggested that the premiere date for season five might be postponed owing to the delay in commencing production, however, it seems the team will still be able to make the June 2015 premiere date. Hypable reports that filming started on Feb. 9 and was confirmed on Teen Wolf's man Twitter account, accompanied by snaps of Beacon Hills high school walls. Previously, actor Tyler Posey who plays lead Scott McCall, had told several media outlets that filming was to start in December but got pushed to February 2015 which sparked speculation of delay in premiering season five. Moreover, the cast has taken to Twitter to tease fans about the upcoming season by posting pictures and teasing fans without giving away much information. As filming progresses, seasoned viewers of the show can expect more spoilers to be unveiled in the upcoming months.
