What started out as a quest to find Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is ending up as a ghost hunt. This is exactly what audiences can expect to see in episode 6 of "Teen Wolf" season 6 dubbed as "Ghosted."

In the episode 6 promo teaser, Lydia (Holland Roden) dreamt of an odd occurrence where people disappear. "We saw a carousel and people disappearing in a cloud of smoke," she told the gang as she tries to recollect every detail in her dream.

Lydia, Malia (Shelley Hennig), and Scott (Tyler Posey) decide to ride to Canaan, which is found in an old map. They discover, though, that the place is a ghost down and looked abandoned for ages. They try to look for traces of Stiles' whereabouts, but instead what they see is an eerie-looking woman who seems weirdly happy to see them.

"Visitors, I can't believe we have visitors," the woman says with a suspicious grin on her face. The gang has all the reasons to be doubtful of the hospitality as the promo is capped by the lady going off in furious rage.

The trip to Canaan was prompted by a clue from episode 5 titled "Radio Silence." It can be recalled that Peter (Ian Bohen) was able to return after being abducted by the Ghost Riders. He used the same path to get back while hitching a ride on the riders, and, despite the scorched path, he was able to survive using his abilities.

Upon his return, he showed Malia and Scott a key from Stiles' jeepney, which was the clue leading them to try and find more hints in Canaan. If one pieces the two together, it could mean that Stiles is also abducted, and that the ghastly lady in the promo could have a connection to finding him again.

Will the crew survive the ordeal? This is something fans will have to figure out when "Teen Wolf" season 6 episode 6 named "Ghosted" airs on Tuesday, Dec. 20,  at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
