'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 6 spoilers: Lydia meets another banshee

(Facebook/TeenWolf)The search continues in the next episode of "Teen Wolf."

Lydia (Holland Roden) and her group's search for Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) will bring her in close contact with another banshee in the upcoming episode of "Teen Wolf."

As seen in the promo released by MTV, Stiles is still very much erased from everyone's minds due to the Ghost Riders' powers. Still, he found a way last episode to send Lydia a message. He used a particular radio frequency to instruct her and the others to go to Canaan.

Lydia, Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Scott (Tyler Posey) have no way of knowing that the place is a ghost town. As they begin to explore the abandoned houses, something will strike them as odd. One of the homes is inhabited by an old woman. By just one look, Lydia can tell she is also a banshee.

The woman appears to welcome them with a big smile, stating that she cannot remember when she last had visitors. As they sit down around her dining table, the lady starts to change from a pleasant person to an angry and violent one. Lydia then tells the others that the woman is a banshee. Stiles must have a good reason for sending his friends to Canaan. The banshee may be the key to his release from the Ghost Riders' powers. It looks, though, that Stiles is destined to spend more time with the scary creatures, as recent spoilers report.

According to IB Times, a photo of Stiles has been posted on the official Twitter page of the MTV series. In the snap, he is shown standing at the railway station, but he is not going anywhere. Stiles is trapped in a place that does not exist. The caption of the photo reads, "Stiles may be trapped in a non-existent train station, but his strong spirit won't allow him to be forgotten." It strongly suggests that he will find another way to contact the trio and give them instructions on how to defeat the Ghost Riders once and for all.

"Teen Wolf" season 6 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
