'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers: Liam takes over while Scott is out looking for answers
Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) is taking on bigger roles while Scott (Tyler Posey) is busy looking for Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) in the current season of "Teen Wolf."
The most recent episode saw Liam coming up with ideas on how to defeat the Ghost Riders. He is indeed starting to take over the Alpha role that Scott will soon give up once he leaves Beacon Hills.
Executive producer Jeff Davis previously hinted that the Alpha change would be inevitable in the final installment. Much like how Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) trained Scott, Scott will also assist Liam in taking over the huge role as the werewolf pack's leader.
"We've always had the idea that we would move those characters into those roles — Scott would become Derek, and Liam would become Scott," Davis explains, according to TVLine. "We really liked the big brother, little brother relationships that they found themselves falling into," the EP added.
Last episode, Scott was once again doing his best to track down his missing friend. No matter how he tried to convince Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) that the one they were looking for was his son, the older man would not believe him. Stiles was able to contact Lydia (Holland Roden) through the radio, instructing her to go to Canaan, a ghost town. She, Scott and Malia (Shelley Hennig) were sure they would get more answers there. They are coming closer to finding out where the Ghost Riders have been hiding Stiles, but they still need more time.
Meanwhile, Sheriff Stilinski had a huge discovery. After talking to Scott, he started reflecting more about his family. At home, he found a room that was not supposed to be there. It was Stiles' and the sheriff begun realizing that Scott might be telling the truth about his missing "son." Will he finally join the trio in their search for Stiles?
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
