'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 spoilers: Raj gets jealous over Claire's new admirer in episode 22
Claire (Alessandra Torresani), Raj's (Kunal Nayyar) new girlfriend, will attract a persistent suitor in an event they will attend in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
In "The Fermentation Bifurcation," Design & Trend reveals that the girls will go wine tasting with Raj to get to know his girlfriend more. Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are quite curious why he chose Claire over Emily (Laura Spencer), when in the previous episode, he even slept with the latter. Raj's nature would not allow him to stop seeing Emily when she was so down. Even though the girls told him to man up and quit rushing to her side when she calls, he still did.
Claire is aware that Raj is still in contact with the other woman. She was the reason why they broke up after all. Raj was heartbroken when Claire told him he was too late, as she already had a new boyfriend. Soon after, she called him up to tell him that they were no longer together and asked if Raj was still interested to date her. The upcoming episode will see Claire confronting Raj on why he is juggling two women. She wants him to drop Emily and concentrate only on her.
Meanwhile, Penny will be surprised to find her ex-boyfriend Zack (Brian Smith) in the event. Although she is expecting him to be sad about her newlywed status, Zack will amuse her by making a play at Claire. She, however, will have waste no time telling him to flirt elsewhere since she is busy castigating her own boyfriend. Will Raj finally find the courage to severe ties with Emily?
Elsewhere, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will not be able to join her friends with the wine tasting due to her pregnancy. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) will be nice enough to keep her company in the apartment while she awaits their return.
Meanwhile, Parsons recently took to Instagram to tell the fans that there are only two episodes left to film for the current season. Although he tried to erase the title of the next episode, fans could tell it was called "The Line Substitution Solution."
"Second to last show for the season... Hard to comprehend how quickly this season has flown by. Thank you all for watching and being a part of it. update: I apologize if the name of this episode (which can be shockingly clearly seen even though I used two different black markets over it) ruins anything for anyone... Although I can't imagine it actually gives much away," he wrote.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
