'The Fosters' season 4 spoilers: Callie and Jude cope with Jack's death
The American family drama "The Fosters" was renewed for a fourth season last year by Freeform network. Although the release date is yet to be revealed, it is likely to premiere the first half of the season in June and the second half in January.
The fourth season is expected to follow the story on the aftermath of Jack's death and how Jude is coping with the loss. The bad news keeps piling up for the young lad; he broke up with his boyfriend and the boy he was interested in had a terrible death. Jude was also involved in an incident that could change him in the future.
According to Maia Mitchell (who plays Callie) via TV Line, "Jude begins a spiritual journey a little bit and considers what happens after death. [He] is much more reflective and internally sad, whereas Callie is gung-ho about it. The moms [are] quite interested in how Pearson got another kid in the first place, and they discover that it was through privatization."
As for Callie's relationship with Brandon, Mitchell said that Callie is saddened but proud of Brandon. She will also reflect on the experience and it's probably not going to change the course of their actions. However, they both know what their real priority is. Callie will also do everything she can just to win back the trust of her boyfriend AJ.
The season 3 finale last Sunday filled the screens with a lot of family drama. It was revealed that Callie and Brandon slept together. The news on Jack's death devastated the family. Callie, who took Jack's death really hard, was even more devastated when someone exposed her secret to everyone. She was more worried with her moms Lena and Stef who found out the news a little late. He felt more worse for AJ who was loyal to her at her lowest point.
