The Good Wife returned from its mid-season break with revelations about Cary Agos's fate as he hires a prison consultant to make his life easier, if it can be.

In the episode called "Hail Mary," Cary seeks the help of a consultant who says that if he fails to find an ally behind bars, he'll most likely be dead while he's in prison. The consultant, played by Domenick Lombardozzi, gives more advice that Cary doesn't seem to want to take into account, since everything the consultant says pretty much describes how difficult it will be for him once he is admitted inside prison.

To make the best out of the situation, Cary then asks for Kalinda's help and asks if she knows anyone that can help him out. Kalinda then turns to Lemond Bishop, an unlikely source of help when it comes to Cary's favor. Bishop reminds Kalinda that she just threatened him not long ago, and if he does this favor, it means that she will owe him one.

After Kalinda agrees, Bishop gives her a telephone and speaks to the man on the other line. The man says that he will provide protection and security for Cary once he's inside. The man also reveals that the person associated with Cary named Trey, is on a mission to bring in drugs to Canada from Chicago, revealing that Cary is being framed for his crime.

Because of this, Kalinda, Diane, and Alicia talked to take back Cary's plea before he gets sentenced. Alicia wanted to help, but her duty in the preparation for the debate has gotten her busy and occupied.

As for Diane, she tries to file a motion with the judge. Diane asked Judge Cuesta to drop all of Cary's charges, with evidence saying that Cary did not help Bishop or his men in moving drugs. While holding this biggest piece of evidence, Diane still has to prove that the prosecution lied.
