'The Originals' season 3 episode 20 spoilers: Fight against Lucien
While Klaus, his siblings, and their allies continue to look for a way to save Cami, Lucien continues his ruthless revenge that will force them to look for ways to end him once and for all. "The Originals" season 3 episode 20 is titled "Where Nothing Stays Buried" where more mysteries will be revealed.
The original family of vampires and their allies will discover Lucien's plan and will work together to defeat him. While Klaus, Elijah, and Freya look for possible ways and means to put an end to Lucien, their brother Kol and friend Marcel get into danger. Instead of going together against Lucien, Elijah and Freya attend to Kol and Marcel, while Klaus and Hayley set off to face Klaus. However, a face-off between Klaus and Lucien ensues where Lucien gets the upper hand. In order to save her brothers, Freya will be forced to use magic spells that will cause a lot of consequences.
Lucien's rage is emotionally driven, and discovering that Aurora does not reciprocate his feelings only makes him a lot more dangerous than he already is. In an interview with Collider, executive producer Michael Narducci talked about Lucien and his vengeance. He said, "One thing that's cool about Lucien, to me, is that it's not like he's got political ambitions. He really was motivated to impress and woo Aurora, and now he's realized conclusively that she wants nothing to do with him." Narducci added, "I think a character is extremely dangerous when they have been scorned, in that way."
However, there is another threat in the form of a Mikaelson as season 3 aprroaches its finale. It would be recalled that Kol's resurrection has enabled the ancestors to have a hold on him. Will he eventually go against his family? Will Freya still be able to keep what's left of the Mikaelsons together?
