'The Originals' season 4 spoilers, air date: Davina might be alive
While fans are waiting for season 4 of "The Originals," there are many burning questions that are waiting to be answered in the next installment of the show. One of them is about Davina (Danielle Campbell) not really being dead. Recent rumors have suggested that the powerful witch might not be dead after all.
Davina's death was a huge blow to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), as well as to the fans, since her demise came shortly after Cami's (Leah Pipes) death. So it would be a pleasant surprise for the fans if they see these two beloved characters in the coming season.
If this were the case, then there are also lots of expectations that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Cami's relationship might have a second chance, considering the heartache it has left Klaus when he found out there was no way he could save her.
If not Klaus and Cami, there are also speculations that Klaus and Caroline (Candice Accola-King) will rekindle their relationship. Nothing much really happened between them in season 3 and fans are hoping that season 4 will give them a chance to explore their relationship.
It might be a big possibility since "The Originals" Julie Plec confirmed in an interview on TV Line that there will be future crossovers between the series and "The Vampire Diaries."
"It's a rare luxury to have two shows in a shared universe that you could do that. So to not do it feels like we're missing a really fun creative opportunity, a way to celebrate both shows. But it's not like anyone over at the network is calling us and being like, 'You need two crossovers this year.' I think it'd be fun to keep finding small, organic ways to do it," she said.
"The Originals" season 4 is said to premiere in fall this year. Meanwhile, the third season's episode 22 titled "The Bloody Crown" will air on Friday, May 20, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
