Beth's death was hard enough on the group but now that Tyreese is also gone, fans are wondering how the group will survive. With low morale and no sanctuary, it seems that this is the lowest point that Rick Grimes' group has ever reached. Andrew Lincoln, who plays the role of the group's leader, confirmed that this will be the most difficult phase for the group. He said in an interview with TV Guide that, "They reach probably their lowest ebb in Episode 10, which is an extraordinary moment in the show. It's probably the lowest point all of us will reach."

With no food, water, shelter and feeling grief-stricken, how will the group survive? The promotional video for episode 10 titled "Them" shows the group fighting for survival. Daryl muses that "We need to find water, food", while a distressed Maggie asks Sasha "How much longer we got?" When Sasha answers six miles, Maggie says that's not what she meant.

On the brink of breaking down, it seems this episode will be the most heart-wrenching one. While there are no reports indicating a character's death, it cannot be completely ruled out now that they are out on the road amidst a sea of walkers.

What is known is that help will be provided sooner than the group thinks. Wetpaint reports that the group will magically receive jugs of water with a note saying "from a friend". While the team is understandably suspicious, given their past dealings with friendly people, Eugene just grabs a bottle and drinks it. Speculations are rife that this friend may be Aaron, a recruiter from Alexandria safe-zone. That is also Rick's group's next destination on the show.

Fans were dismayed when Tyreese died but the real reason for his death was revealed by the actor who plays the role. Chad L. Coleman told TV Line that, in the comics, Tyreese is Rick's right-hand man but since the show created Daryl he had to go.

Season five episode 10 "Them" will air on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
