'The Walking Dead' season 6 spoilers: Episode 2 promo and synopsis hint that Alexandria is facing a new threat
The long wait for all "The Walking Dead" fans is over. The zombie apocalypse television series is back for a new season and true to tradition, it started everything off with a chaotic pilot that only signaled that things are gong to be messier in the next 15 more episodes. Episode 2 is already promising more trouble for Rick Grimes and his zombie-fighting family.
The title for season 6 episode 2 of "The Walking Dead" couldn't be anymore vague. Simply tagged as "JSS," it also had a very vague official synopsis.
CarterMatt reports, "When it appears that things are starting to normalize in the settlement, a new problem arises for the Alexandrians."
Not much to gain from it, but it does hint at one thing: Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), and Carol (Melissa McBride) are not about to rest easy in episode 2.
Fans also hope to find out the biggest question posed by the ending of episode 1: "Who blew the horn?" This had some people asking if there is a mole in town or if someone managed to break in — which makes sense and which might answer who or what the "new problem" mentioned in the synopsis is.
A new promo for the upcoming episode also showcases just how intense the new threat is going to be — and it seems to be too much for Alexandria to handle.
As one character says, "This place is too big to protect. There are too many blind spots."
The promo simply ends with a cliffhanger, showing a bloody Alexandria resident trapped in a car. Does this mean more walkers are on their way? Every "TWD" can only hope so.
Watch what else happens to the town of Alexandria when "The Walking Dead" returns for a new episode this Oct. 18 on AMC.
