'Toriko' chapter 396 spoilers, plot news and updates: Manga set to bid goodbye to fans on Nov. 21

(Hulu/Toriko Online)Toriko's final chapter is set to be released on Nov. 21.

"Toriko" fans should brace themselves as their favorite manga's run will reportedly end in November.

2016 will be a banner year for Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine. Not only will the magazine roll out its 50th issue but it will also include the penultimate chapter of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's "Toriko." The succeeding issue will then usher in the last chapter of the popular manga.

Chapter 395 will reportedly follow Neo's story after Toriko invites him to share food. Since this is the first time that someone invited him, the gesture might find Neo changing for the better. The episode is rumored to showcase the marriage of Toriko and Rin as well, and fans can expect a lot of characters to return, like Acacia, Frohze, Ichiryuu, Jirou, Midora, and Young.

The fact that there are no demons left in the manga has prompted fans to think that this is the end of the series. And rightly so as chapter 396 will reportedly wrap up "Toriko's" story. The chapter will reportedly be published on Nov. 21 and will have 31 pages, with the first page said to be in full color.

"Toriko" revolves around Gourmet Hunter Toriko, a hunter who hunts down and defeats dangerous but delicious animals with his bare hands. It's a savage world that Toriko lives in, and gourmet hunters have to either hunt to survive or be the ones on the menu.

The manga was launched in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2008. The 41st compilation of Shimabukuro's opus was recently published on Oct. 4 and fans can enjoy new chapters of the manga in the digital English version of Shonen Jump.

"Toriko" also has an anime series, with 147 aired to date. The series has been aired on Crunchyroll and on Funimation DVDs.

Numerous fans are still hoping that the Gourmet Hunters would continue on in their quest of delicious food. Manga fans would have to wait until Nov. 21 to see if "Toriko" has really reached its end.
