'Watch Dogs 2' latest news and updates: Patch 1.04 now online
Ubisoft just launched the newest installment to the popular series, "Watch Dogs," last Nov. 15, and fans of the game series are now praising the developers for a job well done. However, as with all new releases, a bunch of issues are still in need of fixing in order to make the game better, and as such, the developers have launched the latest update 1.04 last Nov. 22 to deal with the issues.
"Watch Dogs 2" is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
The official status update for the seamless multiplayer and title update 1.04 features the launch of the second phase of seamless multiplayer at 8:30 a.m. PST / 11:30 a.m. EST / 5:30 p.m. CET for all gaming platforms. With this, players are now allowed to access new additional content for multiplayer game modes.
The update features Bounty Hunts without having the Multiplayer App, a seamless DedSec Event with other players, and smoother co-op mission invitations. The developers also mentioned that they are trying to improve searching for activities through the multiplayer app to further improve the seamless multiplayer feature of "Watch Dogs 2."
The game can be purchased for a price of €59.99 or about $65 for the Standard Edition; at €69.99 or about $76 for the Deluxe Edition which features the bonus mission called Zodiac Killer; and at €89.99 or about $98 for the Gold Edition, wherein another bonus mission called The Peruvian connection is included aside from the Zodiac Killer
It can be noted that the story of "Watch Dogs 2" deals with the plans of a group of hackers called DedSec which aims to reveal the true colors of a manipulative high-end operating system, ctOS 2.0, launched in 2016 to provide safer and more efficient management for the city.
