'WWE 2K16' latest DLC update: Future Stars Pack releases Jan. 26; gamers get access to Samoa Joe and two tag teams

2K Sports has announced that the latest DLC pack for its professional wrestling video game "WWE 2K16" will be arriving soon. According to the anonucement made on the official "WWE 2K16" website, the Future Stars Pack DLC will be released on Jan. 26, 2016.

The Future Stars Pack will give gamers access to five new playable characters who are considered upcoming stars in the WWE world.

The Future Stars Pack includes fan-favorite player Samoa Joe, who made his NXT debut last May 2015. He is known for his signature Muscle Buster and Kokina Clutch finishing moves.

Former WWE Tag Team Champions Los Matadores are also included in the upcoming Future Stars Pack DLC. The tag team is comprised of real life cousins Diego and Fernando.

Another tag team, Blake and Murphy, will round out the upcoming Future Stars Pack DLC roster. The villainous tag team is known for Murphy's running brainbuster move followed by the frog splash from Blake.

The Future Stars Pack DLC will be available to puchase for $7.99.

For players looking for a better deal, they can avail of the "WWE 2K16" Season Pass for $24.99. Compared to making individual DLC purchases, players will be able to save up to 20 percent.

The "WWE 2K16" Season Pass includes the Accelerator, New Moves Pack, Legends Pack, 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase and the Future Stars Pack. Players will gain access to the DLC content as soon as they are released.

The Arnold "The Terminator" Schwarzenegger Pack is available to purchase separately for $4.99. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can also purchase the exclusive MyPlayer KickStart for $9.99.
