Jill and Derick Dillard recently gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy named Israel David. However, the delivery did not go as planned. The duo had prepared for a home delivery but turned out Jill needed a C-section.

People magazine reports that the 23-year-old Duggar went through a dramatic 70-hour delivery. Both parents feel the birth of their new born son has bought them closer than ever, and this just weeks before their first wedding anniversary. Jill told the magazine that the adorable baby boy was "worth every single contraction".

26-year-old Derick sang "Jesus Loves Me" to his new born son while Jill was recovering from surgery. The happy dad-of-one said, "(It was) the song I'd sung to him every night when Jill was pregnant. I looked at him and thought, 'This is my son. I love this person.'"

His wife is back home resting and nursing baby Israel. The long line of Duggars are lending support to the new mom. Jill surely has ample babysitters at her beck and call. TLC cameras were present to capture the birthing process. Fans of "19 Kids And Counting" can watch the miracle of Israel David's birth on May 5.

While one Duggar just gave birth, another might be pregnant. Rumors of Jessa's pregnancy are abound when husband Ben posted a picture on Instagram that showed him hiding his wife's belly with the help of a cowboy hat. The hat was strategically placed to hide what seems like a baby bump. Moreover, the promotional clip of Tuesday's episode hinted that Jessa and Ben are ready to share some special news. No doubt this is her pregnancy news. Jessa may have waited for the birth of Jill's child in order to prevent stealing her thunder.

Daily Mail reports that Josh dished some dating advice to 18-year-old brother Josiah who is dating 17-year-old Marjorie Jackson. A video of the three was posted explaining their traditional courtship in a fun way. The trio emphasized that courtship is like dating with a purpose. The Duggars court each other in group settings, usually with family and have a strict no-kissing policy. Only side hugs are allowed and dates must be chaperoned at all times.

"19 Kids And Counting" airs on TLC on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
