To say that there were a lot of monumental occasions in the lives of the Duggars in this season of "19 Kids and Counting" would be an understatement. The finale aired on May 19 and fans could not be more excited and satisfied with the season.

During the course of the show, several of the Duggar kids left the nest and went on to make their own families. The new developments were definitely emotional ones for the Duggars. With her kids leaving the nest, Michelle was quoted as saying:

"It definitely feels different here at home because whenever there's one that's not here there's that gap. We are such a close-knit family that you notice when one's not here."

This season saw 23 year old Jill (Duggar) Dillard giving birth to her first child with husband, Derrick, and Jessa Duggar becoming Jessa Seewald after marrrying her fiance, Ben. Their sister-in-law Anna is also expecting her fourth child with the eldest of the Duggars, Josh.

It seems like one more Duggar might leave the family home soon, with reports of Josiah, the eight child, already courting Marjorie Jackson, who had caught his eye during a mission trip to Ecuador.

There were also several events during the show when the cameras were not rolling, with the most exciting being the newly wed Jessa announcing her pregnancy on Instagram. A photo was posted on Jessa's Instagram account a couple of days ago, featuring the expectant mother showing off her baby bump.

"16 weeks 1 day #BabyBump #BabySeewald" posted Jessa.

With all the new additions to the family, there is a lot in store for the upcoming season of the show. However, TLC has kept its plans for "19 kids and counting" in the down low - neither confirming the show's renewal nor announcing the release date for the eleventh season.

Given TLC's track record, there shouldn't be much of a wait for the new episodes. Season 10 premiered two months after the previous one and so the eleventh season should follow suit.
