'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 3 spoilers: Daisy's vision comes true in episode 21

(Facebook/AgentsofShield)It is the moment of truth in "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 finale.

Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) horrifying vision that one of the team members is going to die soon will finally take place in the upcoming season finale of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

In the back-to-back episodes titled "Absolution" and "Ascension," the promo reveals that the dreaded moment has come for S.H.I.E.L.D. One of them is going to die and the only clue is the flying gold necklace in an exploding aircraft. Last episode, Daisy finally returned to headquarters after being rescued by Lash (Matthew Willig). Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) and May (Ming-Na Wen) planned the whole thing to get Daisy back from Hive (Brett Dalton). The Inhuman lifted the mind control from the agent and sent her back to the quinjet. Unfortunately, Lash died in the process.

With Daisy back in Coulson's (Clark Gregg) side, they will now be preparing for the ultimate showdown with Hive and his army of Inhumans. Last episode, it was revealed that the experiments that Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has been doing on humans were successful. They only do Hive's bidding, which makes them very dangerous. As everyone gets ready for the big fight, Daisy is terrified to know which of her friends is meant to die.

The clues point out to Mack (Henry Simmons). Elena (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) gave him the cross necklace shown in Daisy's vision. The Inhuman wanted him to keep it to give him strength. Many fans, however, think that Mack dying will be too obvious. Besides, the teaser shows him and Daisy embracing during the moment of truth. Her tears imply that the person who died is very close to her heart. Some claim it is going to be her boyfriend Lincoln. Speculations are also rife that it may either be Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) or Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" two-hour season finale will air Tuesday, May 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
