'Alien: Covenant' ('Prometheus 2') news: 'pretty hard R' rating for the film sequel

After the premiere of the intriguing sci-fi movie "Prometheus," which theorized the origin of mankind, the film received a lot of feedback from fans--both positive and negative. The movie's director, Ridley Scott, will once again seize the opportunity to add another installation to the franchise, which will be titled "Alien: Covenant." Scott shared his thoughts about the movie while speaking backstage at the Golden Globes after his win for "The Martian." He said that his plan for the next film is going to be a "pretty hard R" movie rating. Fans can expect a lot of pretty bloody and gruesome scenes that will merit the film's rating. The franchise is, after all, known for its depiction of such scenes. Scott also mentioned that it will feature the origin of the iconic alien creature called "Xenomorphs." The main stars Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will be reprising their roles in the next installment.

According to famous critic Roger Ebert's review of the 2012 film, "'Prometheus' is a magnificent science-fiction film, all the more intriguing because it raises questions about the origin of human life and doesn't have the answers."

His words have likely voiced out the opinions of many. Many consider the film to be a work of art that piques open-minded fans' interests.
