After hoping that the just-concluded San Diego Comic-Con would finally reveal the theme of "American Horror Story" season 6 will be, fans failed to get a solid piece of information as to what it may be. However, for the discerning fans, the show may have already revealed what the viewers can expect from its upcoming season, thanks to the virtual reality experience it offered in lieu of a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Unlike most of the upcoming shows and movies, "American Horror Story" skipped the traditional panel discussion at the just-concluded San Diego Comic-Con. However, the horror anthology series still made its presence felt with its virtual reality experience.

According to reports, the virtual reality experience, which lasted for only 30 seconds, may have already hinted what "American Horror Story" season 6's theme may be. Based on the video of the virtual reality experience, it seems that the upcoming season of the horror anthology series will be primarily set in a hospital or a laboratory.

In the video, although the place looks scary dark, images of fetuses and mutilated parts of children's bodies contained in jars are very apparent. Because of this, others now believe that Lady Gaga will play the role of a scientist or doctor who will be experimenting on children.

Without going into specifics, "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy has long announced that the upcoming season of the horror anthology series will focus on children. Since his declaration, various speculations surfaced, such as the show about being Slender Man, as the Creepy Pasta character lures children into the woods.

Pop Sugar, on the other hand, floated the possibility that the upcoming season may be set in Thatcher School as it may have already been hinted in the previous season. After the show uploaded its logo for its upcoming season on its social media accounts last month, many thought that it will be about the antichrist who was already mentioned in the first season.

With the virtual reality experience shown by "American Horror Story" at the San Diego Comic-Con, fans are further thrown off their balance. What could be "American Horror Story" season 6's theme be? At this point in time, fans can only guess, and things can only be confirmed when "American Horror Story" returns to FX on Sept. 14 for its season 6 run.
