Through her acting skill and edgy looks, Angelina Jolie has become one of the most important and in-demand actresses this generation. It goes without saying that most any role will be efficiently portrayed once Angelina Jolie takes charge, that's why the actress has won numerous awards for her acting, including an Academy Award for her role in 'Girl, Interrupted.'

Unfortunately for her fans, Jolie's acting days might soon be over, with the actress currently focusing on directing rather than acting.

In a recent interview, Jolie revealed that she would rather pick the role behind the camera if asked to choose. When asked if she could quit acting altogether and focus on directing, the actress answered without hesitation, replying, "Absolutely."

"I've never loved being in front of the camera. I didn't ever think I could direct, but I hope I'm able to have a career at it because I'm much happier," Jolie revealed in an interview with Du Jour magazine.

Jolie first directed a film back in 2011 called 'In the Land of Blood and Honey,' with her latest project being 'Unbroken,' set for release in December this year

Currently, Jolie is both directing and starring in the film 'By The Sea,' with her equally-famous husband, Brad Pitt. Jolie revealed that the movie is about a husband and wife going through some difficulties emotionally, and fans of the famous couple are excited to see how the two will portray their roles.
