A lot of people won't be surprised if Anna Duggar decides to end her marriage to husband Josh Duggar. But her father-in-law thinks otherwise and has reportedly tried to convince the long-suffering Anna to remain with his son by buying them a house.

It's practically unheard of in the Duggar's very conservative Christian family and community, but a divorce might be in the horizon as Anna's family has been trying to convince her to end her marriage to the eldest of the Duggar siblings, especially after everything he has put her and their children through.

.However, Jim Bob knows that after the consecutive scandals that his son had been embroiled in, a divorce would bring a different kind of shame to their family and he allegedly will do anything to stop that from happening.

A "Hollywood Life" report states that the "19 Kids and Counting" patriarch recently bought a 3,800 square foot home and had hinted to Anna that she could get the house if she stays with Josh. The sprawling mansion reportedly sits on two acres of land, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's also about an eight minute walk away from the Duggar compound.

The 27-year-old is reportedly not impressed and has refused Jim Bob's offer. According to a source close to Anna, the young mother wants "real healing" and has apparently stated that she can't be bought with a fancy house.

But Jim Bob is said to be determined to make Anna stay in the family as a divorce "will be the nail in the coffin for Josh and the rest of the family."

While Jim Bob is thinking of ways to convince his daughter-in-law to stay, Anna's siblings are said to be convincing her to leave Josh. Her brother Daniel Keller has been very open in his belief that his sister should end her marriage and is said to be staging a divorce intervention.

Josh Duggar is currently in a "faith-based rehab" for his sex and pornography addictions. The 27-year-old admitted himself in the program after the Ashley Madison hack revealed that he was a member of the infidelity website and had two accounts. A former porn star also surfaced and admitted to having had physical relations with Josh while his wife was pregnant with their fourth child.
