Actress Sharon Stone has revealed she has signed up for an appearance in an upcoming movie. She refused to say what role or what movie it would be, but it is widely believed she will join the cast of "Ant-Man and the Wasp" as the original Wasp.

While guesting on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," she shared she will be doing a Marvel movie. While there are a number of Marvel movies lined up, she said, "I'm just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie … upcoming … and I can't tell, because you know, you to sign confidentiality agreements."

People then speculated on the word "wee," which refers to a literally small character and connected the perceived hint to a role on "Ant-Man and the Wasp." There is no official news yet regarding the plot of the next movie, but Ant-Man's Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) has already been teaming up with his lady love Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) against the bad guys. The superhero tandem was hinted in the mid-credits scene of the movie "Ant-Man" when Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) surprised his daughter with a new Wasp suit.

To recall the story arc that may involve the appearance of the original Wasp, it was Hank who originally donned the suit of Ant-Man and he worked side by side with his wife. In one mission, his wife, the original Wasp, went subatomic and got lost in the quantum realm.

In his fight to save his daughter, Scott went subatomic mode but was able to go back. Dialogue about the possibility of the original Wasp still alive was also injected. Furthermore, a closer look at the scene would show a figure inside the quantum realm that looks like the Wasp. It is widely believed that saving Hank's wife and Hope's mother will be part of the plot for the upcoming movie.

"Ant-Man and the Wasp" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 6, 2018.
