"Attack on Titan" season 2 may have hit another delay. Fans of the popular anime series are looking for answers about this and the only common reason is that the four-story arc in the manga hasn't been achieved yet, to push through with the development of the second season.

According to Movie Pilot, the Director Araki Tetsuro decided to delay the series because the manga where the anime is based upon is not yet a full four-story arc ahead of where the previous season ended. This is a valid reason, because the show's popularity is based on original content and it will be unfair for the fans if the second season will just be filled with filler episodes slowing down the progress of the main story.

Fans of the TV series "Game of Thrones" will understand this, because the TV series is also based on a book, and since the book isn't finished yet and the TV series pushes forward, the possibility of lacking original content for future seasons may be very disappointing to fans who have read the books. This will also create two endings that will not only disappoint fans but the author of the book, George R.R Martin, as well.

A little good news, though, since on the upcoming April issue of Bessatsu Shonen, which is translated by Fukushuu, the Director Araki Tetsuro and Author Hajime Isayama talked about character design and development. They also shared about a character named Sasha and plan to give her a dialect or change her speech.

This may not be a clear indicator but a good sign that something is happening regarding the second season. Fans should be able to breathe a bit lighter now with the said update since slowly but surely season 2 is happening. Until then, fans can look forward to the upcoming "Attack on Titan" game coming to the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita.
