The franchise that made people cry so hard and so true has finally wrapped up, and though it has been confirmed that there won't be a "Banshee" season five, there may be hope for a spinoff on the way.

In a recent talk with Zap2it, creator Jonathan Tropper discussed his insights on the franchise's finale, as well as plans for Lucas Hood and the rest of the characters who marked the hearts of television fans.

When asked if a spinoff is possible, Tropper explained, "Spinoffs are tough for a bunch of reasons, but if the right idea came, I'd certainly love to work with [actor Hoon Lee] again...if we had the right idea for a Job spinoff, certainly we would play with that."

While Tropper did not mention wanting to work on another Lucas Hood storyline, he did seem to tease that maybe fans can hope for another round of adventure with the character brought to life by Antony Starr.

Lee's Job and Starr's Hood have become the most beloved characters in the franchise and it possibly broke the hearts of many when the two had to wrap up their stories.

For Tropper, he believes both Job and Hood may one day meet again to come up with "some big heist." If Tropper's thoughts become a reality, viewers can expect a spinoff likely switching the roles of Job and Hood, with Job being the lead and Hood being the supporting star.

"My guess is he's [Hood] probably living somewhere in Manhattan near Job and plotting some big heist, but maybe they're doing it with a lighter heart," he said in the Zap2it interview.

A spinoff is indeed something fans will definitely look forward to. However, it might be delayed for the reason that Starr is busy with a new CBS show, "American Gothic." In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Starr revealed that he will be playing the role of "a potential serial killer."

If Tropper wants to produce a "Banshee" spinoff anytime soon, Starr might not be in the script and Job may well indeed be the central character, along with other cast members who will contribute to a meaningful storyline.
