'Banshee' season 4 spoilers: Carrie back to her old tricks, FBI Agent Victoria Dawson takes over murder investigation in episode 4 'Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch'

(Cinemax)Carrie reverts back to old tricks in "Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch."

Although "Banshee" is already in the middle of its fourth and final season, don't expect the drama series to tone down its story and characters, especially with a murder-mystery waiting to be solved. Expect the action to continue in an all-new episode airing on Friday night.

Last week's episode "Job" finally pointed to the whereabouts of Job for the past two years. Viewers saw that after being subjected to torture and interrogation, the once-vibrant cross-dressing ally of Lucas Hood is now traumatized and damaged. As Job was finally freed from his captors, Hood, on the other hand, was arrested in the episode.

The upcoming episode titled "Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch" finds Carrie Hopewell reverting back to her old tricks to help Hood. She covertly meets with Kurt Bunker who goes out on a limb, in order to hand her some confidential files.

In this Friday's episode, viewers finally catch a glimpse of actress Eliza Dushku as FBI special agent Veronica Dawson. Dawson arrives to Banshee, PA to take over the investigation over Rebecca Bowman's murder. The promo for "Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch" previews her tense confrontation with Kai Proctor and interrogation of Hood.

As Dawson continues her investigation, the town will be once again rocked by a new murder. Given that Hood is already in custody, will this new case be enough to exonerate him?

Despite the countless questions unanswered, the final season of "Banshee" has been shaping up to be a very compelling season. As the final season reaches its midpoint, will viewers be one step closer to unmasking the identity of the murderer?

To see how everything unfolds, be sure to catch "Innocent Might Be a Bit of a Stretch" airing on Apr. 22.

Season 4 of "Banshee" airs every Friday at 10 p.m. ET on Cinemax.
