In the latest trailer for "Suicide Squad," the one that was leaked from the San Diego Comic-Con, one of the clips shows Batman hanging from the top of the car of Harley Quinn — and possibly Joker — thus confirming the appearance of the Dark Knight in the upcoming film.

However, many fans have started tow onder how his appearance in the movie will be connected to the "Batman V Super: Dawn of Justice" movie. Luckily, Zack Snyder has recently shared a hint on how these two movies will connect with each other.

According to the interview of Zach Snyder with Empire Magazine via Comicbook Movies, it turns out that Batman is the one responsible for putting The Joker and Harley Quinn inside the Belle Reve prison, as well as the other villains, who are going to be part of the "Suicide Squad."

Snyder's revelation sure explains why he was trying to capture Harley Quinn in the scene where he was hanging from the top of the car.

And that is not the only juicy detail the director revealed. Snyder also indicated that in the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," Batman is going to be much older than the previous version, specifically the Christian Bale version. He is going to be more mature and on the stage of almost retiring.

"We are playing him 45 or 46. He has been Batman for 20 years. All the history is there. Was there a Robin at one time? Possibly... He has lost those near and dear to him, and not necessarily from old age of disease," Snyder said during the interview with Empire Magazine.

With all that said, it is quite easy to assume that the events in "Suicide Squad" are going to happen right before those in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," as what the previous speculation suggested in a report by Screenrant last March 2015.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is going to premiere on March 23, 2016, and it will be followed by "Suicide Squad" on Aug. 5, 2016.
