The premiere of the much anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is only mere months away and to say that the excitement surrounding the film is palpable is an understatement. Although fans still have to wait until March of next year for the debut, some details about the upcoming adaptation have already been revealed by the cast and crew of the movie.

Three months ago, director Zack Snyder granted Entertainment Weekly the special privilege of viewing some scenes from his upcoming project, as reported by CinemaBlend. If the preview is any indication, then it is certain that the DC film will be nothing but exciting.

According to Entertainment Weekly's report, one of the most heart-stopping sequences from the film is the rooftop battle. The scene features the two heroes battling each other on top of a certain building amidst the picturesque skyline of the city.

The report of this particular fight sequence comes as a suprise especially considering previous rumors claiming that Superman will do everything he can to avoid fighting Batman head to head.

In other related news, during the recently concluded New York Comic Con, costume designer Michael Wilkinson discussed each of the outfits he created for the upcoming film. During the event, as reported by Screencrush, Wilkinson described his output as "labors of love," explaining how each and every part of the costumes were a product of a series of sleepless nights and tons and tons of homework. He further pointed out some details that fans might overlook, including the Kryptonian script that was actually woven into Superman's costume. As for Batman's iconic black costume, Wilkinson wanted to highlight a "mountain of muscle." By what was showcased during the convention, it is clear that the designer has met his muscle-y expectations.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the big screen on March 25, 2016.
