The ticket pre-order for the much anticipated DC Extended Universe movie, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," has begun in Germany even though the screening is not due until March 26, 2016 in the region.

Aside from the pre-order, the possible movie duration for the film was also unofficially revealed. According to DC Comics Movie, a German-based website has listed that "Dawn of Justice" will run for 151 minutes or 2 hours and 31 minutes. This is eight minutes longer than the previous "Superman: Man of Steel," which was at 2 hours and 23 minutes (143 minutes).

The duration of the film is not really that surprising, if it turns out to be accurate, that is. The second installment in the DCEU is going to introduce many new characters like Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot); Aquaman ("Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa); Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), General Zod (Michael Shannon), and the infamous villain Doomsday. This could very well be the reason why the upcoming film will run more than "Man of Steel," which debuted in Dec. 14, 2013.

However, since there is no official word yet from DC or Warner Bros. about the exact run time of the film, it is highly advisable for fans to take the current listing with a speck of salt for now and consider it as mere rumor until proven otherwise.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016 while the standalone debut of "Wonder Woman" and "Aquaman" will premiere on June 23, 2017 and July 27, 2018, respectively.
