With season 4 of "Beauty and the Beast" being the show's final season, fans can gear up for an exciting journey ahead. Below are some news and updates on what's new for the series.

The filming for "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 has just wrapped up. With the show filming in Canada, there have not been a lot of spoilers and teasers on what's been going on in the past months during filming. But the actors have gone to Twitter to share their sentiments on the series wrap.

Austin Basis, the actor who portrays JT Forbes, posted a photo of himself during the last day of filming. He captioned it, "That's a SERIES wrap 4 JT on [Beauty and the Beast]- It's bittersweet saying goodbye 2 this character. I'll miss him. Onward&Upward."

Lead actor Jay Ryan who plays Vincent Keller also shared about his last day experience. He tweeted about landing in Montreal for the final shooting day and added that Montreal is a beautiful city. After filming, he again tweeted, saying his goodbye to both Montreal and the show he's graced for the last three years.

Ryan and Basis do have a lot to be thankful for, with the show opening them to more project possibilities. With the filming over and done with, they are now more open to getting new (and maybe even bigger) roles even before "Beauty and the Beast" returns for its final season.

Yet it seems that it's not only the two of them who had a bittersweet farewell to the show. SpoilerTV collated other tweets from actors Anastasia Barzee, Nina Lisandrello, and the emergency service film consultant Tactical Film Consul.

There is no official release date yet for season 4 but word is that it will follow the season 3 release, which means fans can expect a new season by summer 2016.
