A lot of things are in store for the viewers once the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul" starts airing. While it is expected that the feud between Charles "Chuck" McGill (Michael McKean) and James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill (Bob Odenkirk) will intensify, "Better Call Saul" season 3 will also offer the viewers a better understanding of Jimmy's girlfriend, Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn).

According to reports, "Better Call Saul" season 3 will be an opportunity for the series to cast a spotlight on the complex character of Kim Wexler. On her part, Seehorn admitted that Kim is, indeed, complicated and not as simple as she seemed to be in the series' previous season. However, Seehorn stresses that the complexity of her character is all part of the story that has already been outlined beforehand.

"But there is a foundation they're giving you to build on that's unmistakable. We do not have rewrites. We do not ad lib. We do not improve. And instead of that being restrictive, it's very free. You have this tone, this foundation to build on where everything is there in the text and that includes what you don't say. We all work really hard to memorize all of these lines pretty much before we get there..." she explained in an interview with Deadline.

Despite being aware that her character will be unraveled further in the upcoming season 3 of "Better Call Saul," Seehorn, apparently, is also clueless on how her character will be unveiled in the upcoming season. Nonetheless, she expresses her excitement over it as she is confident that whatever direction and timeline will be employed for her character, she knows too well that it will be in sync with how Kim is meant to be at the onset.

In the same interview, Seehorn also disclosed that the upcoming season of their series may tackle some scenes featured in "Breaking Bad," the series from which the spin-off "Better Call Saul" is based.

"There's a lot of leeway with where they could go. I can only presume that it's also on the table for them to do scenes that happen during Breaking Bad years in some fashion," Seehorn said.

"Better Call Saul" is expected to return to AMC for its third season run in the first quarter of 2017.
