Fans of AMC's crime drama "Better Call Saul" will have to wait a few more months until it returns for season 3. Good news is actor Bryan Cranston of "Breaking Bad," the phenomenal hit series that earned Saul (Bob Odenkirk) its spin-off show, has a cameo role next season.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Cranston finally responded to the fans of "Breaking Bad" who are hoping to see his character, Walter White, in the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul."

"I don't know in what context it would work in, because we're in different phases. The characters didn't meet until the second season of 'Breaking Bad,' when Walter needed to meet him," the he said. "I suppose they could have a serendipitous brush of each other down the street or in the market, but I don't know what good that'll do — it's just a little cookie."

Although it is still not clear when and how Walter will appear on the show, Cranston has confirmed to agree on series creator Vince Gilligan's offer to direct one of the season's episodes. He admits that he is excited to be working with the same family that helmed "Breaking Bad."

Lead star Odenkirk also spilled some spoilers for the upcoming season in an interview with The Wrap. He described season 3 like an innocence getting torn away and things will get explosive. He explained, "We learn that Saul is just who he's pretending to be to get back at the world." This means that the real Saul, perhaps the Saul who is known from "Breaking Bad," will finally be seen on screen.

If he does choose to reveal his true colors, this could also mean that the people around him will be affected as well. Mike (Jonathan Banks) and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) may suffer from his actions.
