'Better Call Saul' season 3 spoilers, news: Bob Odenkirk teases plot

(Facebook/BetterCallSaulAMC)Will Jimmy McGill finally transform into Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" season three?

The third season of "Better Call Saul" may be the most exciting yet for fans as it is believed that this installment will finally shed Jimmy McGill's good layers until he transforms into Saul Goodman.

As fans know, Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy was left in a crossroads dilemma in the finale of "Better Call Saul" season three, and it is expected that he will finally become the person fans have been wanting to see: Saul Goodman.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Odenkirk teased on what fans will see when the third installment arrives. "This season is gonna be about how innocence gets torn away. We learn that Saul is just who he's pretending to be to get back at the world... Season 3 is when things will really explode," he explained.

Based on the actor's statements, it only means that season three will give fans a first closer look at who Saul truly is. Jimmy's innocence will have to be "torn away" so Saul can live as this is the only way for the latter to take vengeance on the world and people who betrayed him.

This could also mean that Jimmy will have to sacrifice people dear to him so his transformation can happen successfully. That being said, fans can expect to see his best friend Mike (Jonathan Banks) and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) getting dragged along the way. While Jimmy may not want to intentionally get the two involved in his walk towards the underworld of the law, it is inevitable that these two will support him no matter what.

Meanwhile, "Better Call Saul" season three is also looking to dig further into the sibling rivalry between Jimmy and Chuck (Michael McKean). As seen in the previous installment, Chuck seemed to betray Jimmy into admitting that he fabricated Chuck's Mesa Verde documents. This could be Jimmy's turning point for transformation.

There is not much known about the upcoming season but fans should look forward to the explosive revelations that will take place in "Better Call Saul" season three, which is expected to premiere sometime 2017.
