News of sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby has been surfacing over the last decade, but the accusations were sensationalized until last week. Cosby has never faced a judge or a jury, or even faced charges all his life, but all that could change once the courts make their decisions.

Cosby had a chance to clear his name when an NPR reporter asked him about the allegations. Instead, the actor did not say a thing which resulted to an awkward radio silence.

The Associated Press gave Cosby the benefit of the doubt and asked him about the accusations as well, but just the same, Cosby failed to deny allegations and commented that the manner of asking such questions is a "mark of low integrity." Cosby then asked to have that portion of the interview "scuttled."

One allegation was made by Linda Joy Traitz, who said that Cosby forced himself on her back in 1969 in his car. Traitz worked at a restaurant co-owned by Cosby.

Unfortunately for Traitz, her lengthy criminal record works against her as it contains a dark history of burglary, substance abuse and fraud. Traitz was in her late teens at that time, and claims Cosby initiated the assault by offering her some pills.

More allegations have reportedly surfaced by individuals named Louisa Moritz, Andrea Costand, Joan Tarshis, Carla Ferrigno, Tamara Green, and even supermodel Janice Dickinson. Dickinson claims that the actor assaulted her after they had dinner in 1982.
