'Blue Mountain State' news: The 'BMS' gang will find a way to keep the goat house

The comedy series "Blue Mountain State," created by Eric Falconer, was once at the center of the spotlight. The series ran from 2010 to 2011 and is now coming back--but not as a TV show. "Blue Mountain State" is going to have a movie version, which is going to be equally fun and comedic. Fans have been waiting for this for years.
Fans are undoubtedly betting that the film will take the top spot in comedy film categories. The movie is titled "Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland." The film is going to be produced by the same minds behind "The Hunger Games" and "Divergent" film series. Lionsgate will surely generate tons of publicity and revenue from this movie.
The comedy film was originally scheduled to hit the big screen last September 2015 but after encountering a few issues about the film's distribution, its release was moved to Feb. 2 of this year.
There are not enough details revealed yet about the movie but at least a simple synopsis was posted on IMDB. The synopsis reads, "When Thad goes pro into the NFL, he has a clean slate in life to start a new one."
In the official trailer released on Jan. 14, Alex Moran (Darin Brooks) is shown wanting to personally buy the goat house where they currently live because a new dean will take it over. He waited for three years for the house to be under his rule and now, he is making a way to earn the cash to legally buy the goat house.
Of course, the film won't be complete without the rest of the hilarious cast. Along with the quarterback of the team, Alan Ritchson will be back as the linebacker Thad Castle, Sam Jones III as the team's running back Craig Shilo and Chris Romano as the team's mascot Sammy Cacciatore.
A teaser was posted on YouTube recently. And although it's not the official trailer, it has already garnered more than half a million views as of writing.
