It's a battle between the American League teams, as the East's Boston Red Sox host the West's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Fenway Park in the MLB.

The match is on May 22, 2015 at 7:10 PM ET.

Both the teams are coming off losses as the Red Sox lost 3-1 to the Texas Rangers at home, losing their series 2-1 with their record dropping to 19-22. They're fourth in the AL – East and are a disappointing 8-11 when playing at home.

On the other hand, the Angels just finished a four-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays and the series ended 2-2, with Los Angeles winning the second and third before losing 8-4 in the last game.

They now hold a 21-20 record, but still hold the second place in the AL – West, with the Seattle Mariners 2.5 games behind them, while the Angels are 5.5 games behind leaders Houston Astros.

This is the first of two series matches between the two teams, but Boston will try to take revenge as the Angels had swept them away last year at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox will be relying on Dustin Pedroia to get them going, as he currently leads the team with a .271 Batting Average. Close behind is Pablo Sandoval with .270.

As far as Home Runs and Runs Batted In, Hanley Ramirez is Boston's top man with 10 and 22, respectively.

On the other hand, the Angels have strong players and Kole Calhoun has displayed the best at bat with a .298 average followed by Mike Trout's .288.

Trout leads the team with 11 Home Runs and 22 Runs Batted In, while veteran Albert Pujols' Home Run count is currently at seven.
