Canon has unveiled its latest model in its popular DSLR camera lineup – the EOS Rebel T6. The new entry-level model is perfect for individuals who love taking high-quality photos and sharing them to their various social media accounts.

The Canon EOS Rebel T6 features an 18 MP Canon CMOS APS-C sensor and is powered by the DIGIC 4 Image Processor. It also has an ISO range of 100 to 6,400 but can be upgraded to 12,800. With these features, high-quality photos and videos can be taken easily. Furthermore, impressive results can be achieved even in low light conditions.

The nine-point autofocus (AF) system and the AI Servo AF also allow the DSLR to deliver accurate and detailed results even when the subject is moving. Users can capture high-resolution images continuously for up to three frames per second.

Even beginners will be able to capture breathtaking images with the Scene Intelligent Auto Mode. This shooting mode analyzes the environment and adjusts appropriately for color, brightness, contrast and movement of objects. Food bloggers and enthusiasts will also be impressed with the Food Mode which enhances the color and brightness of food.

Other automatic shooting modes include Portrait, Night, Landscape, Sports and Close-up. There are also creative filters like Fisheye, Miniature, Soft Focus and Toy Camera. The EOS Rebel T6 also comes with Full HD 1080p video recording capability.

To frame photos, users can use the optical viewfinder or the 3-inch LCD monitor.

With Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, users can easily and seamlessly transfer captured photos and videos to other compatible smartphones and mobile devices.

The Canon EOS Rebel T6 will also be compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses.

The Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR camera will be available for purchase by April 2016. Priced at $549.99, the camera will be bundled with the EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II standard zoom lens.
