Entitled 'Driven,' the 'Castle' Season 7 premiere promises a handful of answers to the questions left hanging at the end of the last season.

At the end of Season 6, fans saw how Castle unfortunately found himself in the middle of what seems to be a fatal car crash. With a wedding to Beckett left hanging, fans of the show are not sure what the future holds for Beckett.

In a sneak peek of the brand new episode which will air on September 29, Beckett is seen trying to pick up the pieces on the disappearance of Castle.

In the video, Beckett is seen entering a junk yard, where Castle's car is expected to be parked. By the time that Beckett closes in on the vehicle, she sees it being smashed and crushed into a chunk of metal.

Show runner David Amann explained to TV Guide that viewers will have a firm grasp of the happenings by the time Episode 2 of Castle Season 7 airs.

"After the second episode, the audience will have some but not all of the answers about what exactly is going on," Amann revealed in an interview with TV Guide.

"It's a sufficient amount [of resolution] that the characters can move and get back to life as they knew it, but the effects of what happened to Castle will re-emerge and re-assert themselves later in the season," Amann added.
