'Clash of Clans' update: Expect sneak peaks weeks before major update

After successfully concluding the fist ClashCon last week, Supercell, the company behind the famous mobile game, is planning on huge updates that fans will be waiting for.

According to Touch Arcade, the company is planning on releasing the new Town Hall 11 defense, which is speculated to involve an Inferno Tower and mortar. This new defense's combination will surely give any attacker a hard time on bringing down the Town Hall. The article also speculates that the upcoming update will be bringing in a third hero, a possible warlock. DayHerald reports that fans wouldn't be using their dark elixir in obtaining the new addition, unlike its predecessors the Barbarian King and Archer Queen, but will come with a hefty six million Elixir price tag.

The new update will also include a new 44x44 map layout, which would give fans a little bit more room to set up their defence and traps.

Vine Report states that Supercell is still keeping the release date of the new updates a secret, only a vague statement about their update which reads:

"Sneak peeks will not start today, neither are we getting the update already next week. Sorry friends!"

The report speculates that fans where hopeful that the new update will be included in their special Halloween- themed update. However, the lack of new changes will mean a great deal for players, as the company plans on giving the fans a sneak peek of their new changes every week until its actual release date.

For now, players can enjoy the Halloween themed "Clash of Clans" including a Halloween Cauldron challenge, where players planning on harvesting the said new cauldrons would be getting bonus elixirs as well as factory-boost for just 1 gem. The Halloween special will run throughout the weekend.

"Clash of Clans" is a popular mobile game that has been running for three years.
