Update 8.212.9 for the popular "Clash of Clans" game is already available for download for Android users. The latest update gives users the latest fixes and improvements, as well as new features.

The new update introduces a new troop called Bowler whose main strategy includes throwing rock balls that bounce against their enemies. There's also an interesting new character - a big guy called Tiny.

Aside from the new troop, the latest update gives the Valkyries, Hog Riders, and Goblins new levels. It also strengthens the defense systems of buildings like Mortar and Inferno Tower.

The greatest feature, however, that comes with the new update is in the Clan Wars matchmaking. Now, players can battle with clans which have the same level as theirs, thus eliminating the possibility of a mismatch.

Supercell, the game developer, hopes that this new update will attract more gamers to play the game and bring back previous ones who stopped playing it.

In another report, however, the new update has received a lot of complaints, one of which includes the error message saying "device not compatible" when installing the update from Google Play. Other complaints include account-switching issues and game crashes caused by the base layout editor.

The new "Clash of Clans" update is 58.82 MB in size and can be installed in mobile devices which run on Android 4.0.3 and higher. The "Clash of Clans" 8.212.9 APK can be downloaded from the Internet and installed manually on mobile devices.

Since the new APK update is from a third party source, those who have downloaded the file are advised to open the "Unknown Sources" option on their Android mobile devices. To access that, one has to go to "Settings" first then to "Security."

After enabling that option, access the file manager to locate the saved "Clash of Clans" update file. Once the file has been accessed, tap to begin installation.
