'Dance Moms' season 7 episode 7 spoilers: Abby Lee Miller looks to a racially charged group dance to break losing streak

When one combines exceptional young talent and excessive adult bicker and drama, no one could think of any other show than "Dance Moms." In the upcoming episode for season 7, Abby, the moms, and the girls are bringing on the controversies, arguments, and the pressure.
The preview for episode 7 shows Abby telling the group the theme for the group dance. "The group routine is based on 'The Help,'" Abby announced. "We have maids, we have socialites." This was a rather uncomfortable premise for Holly Frazier, Nia's mom, considering her daughter is going to be taking the lead.
Abby didn't take notice and shrugged the comment off as if she didn't hear Holly. She turns her attention to Nia, saying, "Nia, if this routine doesn't win, that pressure's on your shoulders."
It indeed is a big pressure on the dancer's part. It can be recalled that Nia has been on "Dance Moms" since the first season, and she is the remaining original elite on the group. To add to the stakes, Abby Lee Miller has mentioned that she would not think twice to let her go if she loses in the upcoming competition.
It appears Nia isn't the only one who is feeling the pressure. It looks like Abby herself is taking the heat and has to act fast to make sure the show remains popular as it is, and may be seeking to get her former dancer Chloe Lukasiak for the season finale, International Business Times has learned. With Maddie Zigler being too busy, Lukasiak may be the next best thing, and Abby will need all the help she can get.
The episode's synopsis reads, "Abby and the ALDC try to break the long standing losing streak in Fresno, CA. Holly's nerves are frayed when Abby announces the theme for a controversial and racially-charged group dance. Meanwhile, Elliana and Maesi's duet brings out the worst in Yolanda and Jamie's already toxic relationship."
"Dance Moms" season 7 episode 7 dubbed as "The Fresno Curse" airs on Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
