'Dance Moms' season 7 cast rumors: Maddie Ziegler's exit a big blow to reality series, few artists show up for audition?

(Facebook/DanceMomsonLifetime)Is "Dance Moms" season seven close to cancellation? Rumor has it that coach Abby Lee Miller is starting to feel the consequences of Maddie Ziegler's departure as there seems to be a few people interested in auditioning for the series

Following the shocking departure of sisters Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler from "Dance Moms" season six, there are new reports suggesting that Maddie's exit is now taking a toll not just on the reality dance series but also on the network itself.

According to the rumors, Maddie's exit may further prove to be a big blow when "Dance Moms" season seven premieres. Since Maddie is obviously the biggest star that the show produced, it wouldn't be a surprise if fans who followed her life through the series will no longer watch the upcoming installment.

The rumors go as far as predicting that if ratings continue to go down due to Maddie's departure, Lifetime may end up canceling the show. This is not impossible since Maddie has kept many viewers excited ever since she stepped into the Abby Lee Dance Company.

On the other hand, "Dance Moms" is currently casting for new young dancers to join the roster for its seventh season so Maddie can be replaced, and this could play well for Lifetime and the ALDC series to stay on air for one more season.

The sad thing is, there are reports alleging that coach Abby Lee Miller raged on one audition set after she arrived at the venue and discovered that there were only eleven artists auditioning during that day. Her purported attitude breakdown is said to have caused problems not just for the crew but for the other cast members as well.

Abby Lee has been in the headlines for some time now, not because of "Dance Moms" but because of her legal battles. If she continues down the road to bankruptcy and she fails to clear herself of the money-related charges thrown at her, it is speculated that Lifetime may decide to replace her with a new dance coach for season seven.

These are just speculations for now since Lifetime has not yet addressed the issues so it is best that fans take any unofficial report with a grain of salt.

"Dance Moms" season seven is expected to air sometime early 2017.
