Like peas and carrots, the struggling attorneys at law, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), are quite inseparable in "Daredevil." Despite some slight misunderstandings, the two still could find reasons to stick together. However, this might not be the case when the show returns to Netflix for its highly anticipated sophomore season.

According to TVGuide.com, Foggy's shocking discovery about his best friend's secret identity will take a toll on their friendship. Now that he knows that the blind lawyer is in fact the very man who sprawls the streets of Hell's Kitchen who by nighttime gets rid of the scum and dirt, and makes the whole neighborhood a safe place to live, he might now have some doubts dealing with the person.

"Foggy loves Matt," series executive Doug Petrie told the media outlet. "He's very protective of him, but he's scared of him, and he's got to protect himself ultimately... It's like having a friend who's in the program. Like, "I'll be with you, but there's a point when your behavior is un-endorsable. And for the good of both our mental healths, I'm getting out of here.'"

For those who missed it, Foggy discovered Matt's nighttime gig when he found the man severely beaten up in his own place.

Given this statement, it appears that fans won't be seeing Foggy joining Matt in his vigilante runs any time soon.

The Foggy drama will definitely affect Matt in a big way. But this won't be the only thing that he'll be facing. Adding more pressure to the already dire situation is the fact that he is yet to meet Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, with whom he is bound to come in disagreement with. Furthermore, there's the apparent arrival of The Hand that will definitely be creating some problems in Daredevil's slice of the Marvel Universe. If that won't be enough, there's the reported reappearance of his old mentor, Stick (Scott Glenn), and his group, the Chaste whose intentions are yet to be revealed.

"Daredevil" season 2 is slated to debut on Netflix on March 18. Stay tuned for more updates.
