The third season of "Daredevil" will definitely happen even if it might arrive after two years, but recent rumors about a prominent action figure potentially playing the role of Bullseye have ignited talk about the highly anticipated installment.

Den of Geek suggests that Bullseye has to come around in "Daredevil" season three. While there is no confirmation whether the villain will be up for the new episodes, many fans believe that his entry will do good for Matt/Daredevil (Charlie Cox).

First of all, Bullseye is a psychopathic assassin who is known for defeating Daredevil in the comics in one of their encounters in New York City. However, Matt has won more times than he was defeated and has ultimately put down Bullseye's reputation at one point.

If Bullseye enters "Daredevil" season three, which actor will be worthy of the role? The outlet has mentioned just one name: Jason Statham. The actor is not just known for his action-packed roles but he is also praised for his skills in kickboxing and karate.

With his experience in the realm of fighting and extreme fistfights, he could pull off the role successfully, especially with his villainous looks and stance. There's no confirmation about the report yet but Statham is definitely a good choice, at least for fans who believe in his acting and fighting abilities.

Meanwhile, rumors are hot on the alleged 2018 release of the show's third installment. In a Twitter post in July, Entertainment Weekly senior writer Natalie Abrams revealed that the upcoming seasons of other superhero shows on Netflix will not air until after the first three lined-up shows for 2016 and 2017 are completed.

"Marvel/Netflix sked: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders THEN 2nd and 3rd seasons of the other shows and Punisher," she wrote. Since the said shows will be released in between this year and 2017, "Daredevil" season three won't air until most likely 2018.
