May will be a month full of action for the various characters of "Days of our Lives." It will be a signal of new romances, renewed relationships, and more.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) will definitely have an emotional roller coaster ride as he deals with his feelings and family. He will witness how Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Fynn's (Alexander Bruszt) romance go to the next level - something that will make him jealous but is powerless to stop it from happening.

While sorting out his emotions, he will receive information that Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Paige Searcy) went to Los Angeles and got stuck in the desert. He finds out that they are with Jade's hippie aunt, causing him to scramble to L.A. to search for the duo.

Meanwhile, an epidemic breaks out and will have very deadly consequences. The first Salemite to get infected will be Paul (Christopher Sean), and there is nothing the doctors can do about it as the virus spreads rapidly. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell) will also contract the deadly virus, putting their lives in danger as well.

As for Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer), the "on-again, off-again" couple will realize that they still have feelings for each other. They will try to do their best to repair the relationship.

On the other hand, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will come back from the "dead." His return will greatly affect the budding romance between Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso). When he returns, spoilers say that he will try to win Hope back by telling her an impostor was trying to sabotage him and it was the impostor who tried to kill Hope.

In another scene, the Hernandez family might be in for another problem because of Eduardo (A Martinez). Adriana (Alma Delfina) will try to forgive him for what he did but it seems like a very difficult thing to do that at the moment.

"Days of Our Lives" is aired Mondays to Fridays, 1:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
