'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' latest news: New concept art reveals Adam Jensen's apartment in Prague

"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is the upcoming cyberpunk-themed action RPG video game from Eidos Montreal and Square Enix. The game is set in Prague 2029, two years after the events of "Deus Ex: Human Revolution."
Game protagonist Adam Jensen's story continues as he tries to stop terrorist groups who demand equality for augmented individuals. Jensen also seeks to uncover the truth regarding the past and his own organization.
Just a few days ago, Square Enix released two new concept images for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided." The two images showcase Jensen's apartment in Prague.
"As you can see, the core of Adam's apartment is once again inspired by the cyber renaissance theme, although darker than what it was in 'Human Revolution.' These two concepts are only the tip of the iceberg and there will be a lot more details to find in his apartment," the game developers said in a blog post.
Based on the images, it can be seen that Jensen's life is still in disarray. The apartment is messy with bottles of alcohol scattered throughout. There are still piles of boxes and books left on the floor. Overall, there is a gloomy atmostphere permeating the space.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" was initially slated for a February 2016 release date but was pushed back to August. The six-month delay will be spent on post-production refinement and tuning.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a huge project. We won't compromise on quality," the developers said on Twitter.
According to Eidos Montreal head David Anfossi, the game developers are working hard on the upcoming game so that it will be a worthy successor to "Deus Ex: Human Revolution."
"It's a huge responsibility to work on 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' – we know, but also a huge privileged. We're determined to deliver the best game we can," Anfossi added.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be released on Aug. 23, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC.
