Fans of 'Doctor Who' who don't like seeing spoilers won't be pleased to find out that the scripts for the first five episodes of Season 8 have been leaked.

The first episode of Doctor Who Season 8 (called "Deep Breath") will premiere on August 25, more than a month from now.

Unfortunately, the excitement has been cut short due to the leaking of the scripts from episodes 1 to 5. According to a report by website Bleeding Cool, the leakage came from Miami, with watermarked copies popping up in various online forums and fan websites.

According to the script leaks, the show's producer Stephen Moffat is responsible for penning the premiere episode and another one, while 'Sherlock' writer Mark Gatiss wrote the second episode.

BBC Worldwide has issued a plea statement via the Radio Times urging fans who have seen the scripts to not share it with others who might have strong interest in the episodes.

It is indeed a long shot, but for people backing up one of the most successful British shows to ever come up in modern television, script leakages are hard to mask.

"We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen on 23rd August. We know only too well that 'Doctor Who' fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty," said BBC Worldwide in the Radio Times statement.
